Propylene Carbonate（Battery grade）is a colorless, tasteless,transparent and nonflammable liquid，fusing puint: -49 ℃，boiling point:240-243℃，index of refraction 1.4189（20℃），specific weight：1.2，viscosity:2.v5mPa.s，Flash point:152℃，it can mix with ether, acetone, benzene and ethyl acetate, soluble in water and carbon tetrafluoride, it is an excellent polar solvent.
In lithium battery industry, propylene carbonate (electronic grade) and dimethyl carbonate, vinyl carbonate, dimethyl carbonate and methyl ethyl carbonate constitute the raw materials of lithium battery electrolyte.
Application:
1. Electrolyte in Lithium Batteries
2. Removes CO2
